 Enlarging Your Capacity

The Law of Potential

Matt 25:14-19

14: For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them.

15: And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey.

16: Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents.

17: And likewise he who had received two gained two more also.

18: But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord's money.

19: After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them.

Notice some words:

* Deliver his good to them (entrusted)
* Giving talent according to their ability (capacity)
* Settle account. (Accountability)

Everything has its own capacity
We can not do or contain something beyond our capacity of doing or contain
Every person was born with ability and capacity

The tragedy of undeveloped potential

* "The death of a seed is the burial of a forest".

* The graveyards are full of great men and women who never became great because they did not give their ability responsibility.

* Your release potential is world's inheritance.

* You came into this world pregnant with unlimited potential.

* You are capable of much more than you have already done.

* Creation destiny is tied to the release of your potential.

* The fact that you are born is evidence that God knew earth needed the potential you are pregnant with.

Knowledge of ability is the introduction of responsibility

"The greatest tragedy in life is not death, but life....life that fails to fulfill its purpose and potential".

Principles

* God placed potential in you to benefit the world.

* Potential is the large, unknown bank of resources you were given at birth.

* Potential must be used or it will be aborted.

* Satisfaction with success kills potential.

* The release of your potential demands that you refuse to be satisfied with your latest accomplishment.

What is Potential?

"The abortion of potential is the death of the future".

Potential is unexposed ability, reserved power, untapped strength, capped capabilities, unused success, dormant gift, hidden talents, latent power. what you can do that you haven't yet done. where you can go that you haven't yet gone. who you can be that you haven't yet been.

How to enlarge Your capacity

The Law of Investment.

* Deut 8:18 God wants to give us the ability (capacity) to produce wealth.
* God does not want to give us only wealth but capacity to produce wealth.
* Everybody was born with ability but nor everybody ends up with skilfull.

Responsibility
   
* Opens opportunity to many things.
* Respond to your ability.
* Maturity does not come by age but comes by the acceptance of responsibility.

* It means you have to sharpening your ability to learn.
* Ecclesiates10:10 When the axe sharp you do not need much power.
* Challenge is the fuel to drive the winner.
* To expand the way you think is to expand your possibility.
